Hard core work day. This pretty much says it all. Despite the fact that it was Saturday, our group of dedicated students broke ground (and our backs), digging the hole for the foundation of the home. Shovelful after shovelful of dirt was piled onto the wheelbarrows and dumped into a pile. We gained some serious muscle mass for our efforts, but we might be needing wheelchairs tomorrow.
Let the digging begin! The first shovelfuls of dirt fly through the air.

The hole keeps getting bigger!

Man, I could sure go for another Navajo taco.

Crap. We have how much deeper to dig?

One of the most inventive counterbalances on a window shutter we've seen!
